As for the first comment: Unless you make that last word 'beaten' (or the like), there is no logic whatsoever to the statement. Why would Ricky be afraid of losing to Witter after he has faced Mayweather? Well, he lost that fight. "Bobby Gunn lost to Enzo Maccarinelli, so why would he be afraid of losing to David Haye " See?
As for the second comment: You make Hatton sound like stupid, sensitive, double-standarded biatch. Surely, he is a better man than that?

The only legitimate argument for not fighting Witter is to build up the fight. Ducking him might just make people anticipate the showdown even more. But, surely, at some point the ducking must stop.

You don't. I was trying to mimic your logic there. Losing to one guy, doesnt mean not being afraid of losing to another.

(My analogy was crap though, I'll give you that, but I couldnt think of any better at the time).
