Anybody playing this at the moment, It's the hardest and most frustrating version they have ever brought out!!

I play it rarely (usually when im round a freinds) but i love it all the same.

is this the thing where you start at a certain year and you draft players for a team?

if so my friend was telling me how addicting the baseball one is..

i was thinking about downloading it..

Yeh, I've played it since about the98/99 version - totally addictive - still call it Champ Man too, although the actual Champ man is sh1te!

It's total football (or soccer ) management, so you buy build a team, build up your staff, stadium etc etc, best PC gane ever imo

yeah i tell you what is good now....the fifa manager 08 is a sick game! serious i was a fm fan but kinda switched over....check it out guys!

I havent even seen any of the new Champ Managers

Im sure that 98/99 version was on the Playstation.... You'd need a whole memory card to save one poxy game!

Yea I've got FM 2008 and I love it, I go on it all the time and I recommend it to all football fans.

Yeh - same here, apparently the first version had sh1t loads of bugs and they have never really recovered from that.

That formation with an attacking mentality, much creative freedom, short passing and slow tempo will win you a lot of games. Trust me, i found it on a fm forum and i have used it ever since. I've won a fair few league titles with Man City using that tactic. Now aiming to do same with Porto. So far so good, top of the league after 5 games and already beaten Sporting and Benfica away!

I've started as MK Dons, want to see if I can get a League 2 team into Champions League eventually. So difficult and unpredictable though. I find only 4-5-1 formations work very well on this version

sold 50% of De rossi for 9 mil, still plays for me this season allows new transfer and ill just buy that stake back , suckers !

Great, great game, but you have to have a real tactical nous for it and micro-manage things to get it to work really well. Currently taking Swansea into the Championship playoffs in third season.
