Hatton is a coward for avoiding Witter in the same way that Bernard Hopkins is a coward for bottling the Calzaghe fight he'd previously agreed to a few years ago. Managing your career to make as much money as you can isn't cowardly. If there were no better money-making options available to Hatton than Witter, he'd take the fight. He may end up in a situation in the future where he takes the fight, we don't know. But calling him cowardly is just silly. Constantly denigrating foreign fighters to try and get reactions on a messageboard is also very silly, although if I also was an unemployable misfit living in my mother's basement I'd need something to fill my day in too.
So that would make Calzaghe a coward for punking out 3 times against Glen Johnson.

Back to the subject at hand. There's no good reason why Hatton doesn't fight Witter. Besides fear. Let me break this down for you so you can understand. I'm not going to use any decent size words cuz I know they confuse you. Hatton has said he will not give Witter a big payday. Is the money coming out his pocket or something? No it's not. So who gives a fuck what the promoters pay Witter. Not only that Witter has said he will take the small purse to fight Hatton. So Hatton's money excuse is just that. An excuse. Another thing is Hatton wants Witter to become more known. He's already the number 2 140 pounder. He's not going to get more known. If this fight happens it takes place in the UK. Not the US. In the UK both have there fans.

You know what? Now that I think about it, I can see Hatton fighting Witter in the future. Maybe a year or two from now. Since Witter is 33. In a couple of years he will be 35, 36. He won't be as fast. And his reflexes will be slower. By than I wouldn't be surprise to see Hatton jump at the chance to fight him. His whole career has been pattern that way. Come on now. Hatton might have you and his other groupies fool. But not me. Fighting fighters that are past there best is what Hatton is all about.
