So what you are saying is that you havent seen Jones evolve as a fighter? Who between 168-175 would you fancy to beat Jones besides Calzaghe and Hopkins

Hopkins will be exposed soon enough, beating a flash in the pan weight drained Tarver and a Bloated Winky Wright dosent get it done against World class opposition at 168-175. I defend RJJ cause there is something to laud in his comeback, he has progressed and has shown an ability to adapt... Hell he was Jabbing Trinidad in that fight more than he has in past 8 fights(Mild Exaggeration ) So he realizes he isint superman anymore so he adjusted.

People make the mistake of comparing Jones of the 90's and early 2000's to the one now. Remember when Jones was in his hayday there was Roy Jones jr...

And then everyone else including the Toneys and Hopkins of the world so IMO Roy losing a few steps really evens out the field of all the other stars. Thats not bad at all I would Favor Jones over most all 168-175 and a push to beat Kessler, Calzaghe I think Jones punks out Johnson and Tarver at this juncture and no doubt in my mind that he beats Hopkins

168-175:the 2 guys you mentioned, BCD would give him a tough fight, Tarver and Johnson already beat him and hold HUUUUUUUUUUGE mental advantages over him,if it's at a catch weight,I think Pavlik would KTFO Roy out etc. Don't get me wrong,RJJ,at 1 point, WAS Superman. Now...I don't think so. I'd love nothing, nothing more than to see him come back and KTFO Johnson and Tarver but I know it won't happen and I know he won't learn until he gets KTFO again.
