Funny thing is Forrest has been claiming he wants the fight but has yet to agree to a contract

IF Forrest won the fight somehow he'd still only be 1-2 against Mayorga. Its kind of a lose-lose. BUT I think they will fight since who else are they gonna fight ya know? And I think Mayorga will beat him again. He has his number and he's got him beat mentally when they step in that ring. Mayorga has absolutely no fear of Forrest, the same cannot be said for Vernon. And Mayorga has learned to box a little since their last meeting so that can only help him.Originally Posted by Daxx Kahn

Mayorga might just be too stupid to fear anyone. lol.Originally Posted by Daxx Kahn
Yeah Forrest actually beat Picarillo more decisevly than El Matador, but that was a much older Picarillo and Picarillo came to fight Forrest and try to outbox him NOT run like he did in the later stages of his fight with Mayorga once he got floored early and tasted the power.
I'd probably rather see Mayorga beat Spinks up in a rematch and avenge that "loss". But I'll settle for watchin him beat up the dirty, cheap shotting, Forrest.

That'll make for a hell of a fight build upOriginally Posted by The Fightfan
i like a shane zab fight right now better. shane's last fight even though a loss was a good fight he still has skills left and zab is his best fight right now, im not downplaying mayorga he is a solid brawler who would give mosley troubel but a judah fight would be a good one imo

i personaly think Mayorga Ko's Judah.
As do I. But it'd be a hell of a fight while it lasted.Originally Posted by 'The Boxer'

Mayorga wouldnt Ko Judah since a tough Cotto needed a while to do it. Mayorga would outwork him though although the skill level is on judah's side.
Against Mosley , Mayorga would lose a decision but it would be closer than one would imagine.
How so? Why do you say that?Originally Posted by mikeboxing

Forrest is a big mouth fool. He lost to Mayorga twice and whilst he cals him out and threatens him when in interviews,I don't think he had made any serious efforts to make the fight. I hope Mayorga KTFO him out,KTFO Zab too. Im no Mayorga fan at all but he's exciting for sure. A Shane fight would be good.
I would like to see Mosley fight Zab personally... There are questions like can Mosley deal with faster guys than him who also have better timing? THat might give some insight into him fight Floyd. Also Mayorga IMO can't make 147, and if they fight at 154 I can't see Mosley winning. Mosley doesn't have the defensive skills against guys who come forward to defend himself, against Mayorga, who would maul him.
