Just watched that fight again recently. Shane was a thing of beauty in that fight. So fast and slick. As far as the Pac vs. JMM fight...it should be a close one. Some people keep mentioning Pac has improved greatly...and he has gotten better. But against MAB...he had a hard time connecting. It was just that Barrera was gun shy. If Marquez can move well and counter sharply...he can win. But if Pac's pressure and youth make Marquez hesitant...Pac will prevail. Should be a great fight.

how did he have a hard time connecting? he landed above 50%, people are just not yet use to the new pac that settles to box instead of the old dominant aggressive pac. That is the only reason why these lesser fans think he didn't do well, knock out or tko is the only means of a good performance to them. Thats what they will expect since they are only use to seeing that brutal side of pacman. It'll take time til, people realize, he can do a lot more now then just be bucking through oppenents with aggression.

And what you need to realize is that the "new Pac" ain't going to beat Marquez by out-boxing him

Pac is not gonna out-box JMM... fcuk that. That's boring, I saw that against Barrera already. Pac will beat JMM the old fashion way. He'll be more accurate with his power punches this time. We're talking about barage of relentless assaults from him. And that's what I'm expecting for this fight.
