I feel that although Quinatan is a pretty respected guy, he may well be the perfect foe for Williams.
He's a decent boxer but his defence is limited by his stance and he should be picked off by Williams pretty easily.
He'll have to something pretty special to stay competitive with Williams output also.

Williams should clear cut a UD.

Its hard to see how williams could be beatn in this one. As others have said (Eagle and CMM) it should be a wide UD.

I hear rumors from people close to Quintana (I live near his home town) that he looks great and is training real hard and is super confident.

Whether that means something or not is another story but Williams better not be looking passed Quintana.

I feel bad that he was put against Williams. I feel Carlos was not ready for Cotto yet and 2 fights later he's fighting a man who's even more dificult in Williams. Cotto might be more dangarous but Williams brings a lot of physical advantages to the table and along with his high work rate we know he can take a punch.

I will root for my man Quintana but I question whether he really has what it takes to become a champion.

hey thanks for your inside report. without sounding like a complete dumbass i believe carlos is from puerto rico? so you live in puerto rico bud?

yeah i agree carlos came off of a big win right before cotto. but in my experience everyone in my circle and around the gym seriously thought carlos was going to outbox cotto for some reason? i was the only one who thought cotto was going to beat carlos but little did i know it was going to be such a devistating body shot like that. WHOA.

I say Williams wins this one fairly handily.. Williams has a legit shot of taking the crown if he ever gets his shot.. The guy is just so long and creates so many match up problems. I'd really like to see Williams Cotto to see if cotto could get inside and pound his body. This would be a good fight.
