You know aswastika is more or less illegal in most of Germany

NO it would be economic suicide as their work gave the South money and not having them would therefore deprive the South of it's good economic status at the time.

The correct thing for the Union to do would be to pay for the rights to all slaves and then pass legislation to set them free and then there is no war, there is freedom, and there are no hard feelings.....there would have been JOBS that were then availible and legal....and then if they were treated poorly the unionization of farmers and field workers would have happened and things would have been good after that.


Slavery is and was a horrible thing....but in all other countries it didn't evoke a war


And once again, the people harmed in the Holocaust and WWII by the Nazi's are still alive.....the Civil War was a loooong time ago, no need to fix something that's not really broken especially in a nation which values free speech....especially the speech which you don't agree with
