I can't say I follow the pop scene too often in Britain, but I agree that Adele's Chasing Pavements is a nice enough song, and Amy Winehouse too is better than a lot of that Pop Idol pap that seems to be churned out these days.

She's not going to be making appearances on my mix CDs in the car yet, but not bad.

Yeah, Amy's album is as sassy as hell. She really needs to sort herself out though. She has been looking like she's been on the smack and crack diet.

The clip to Adele's Chasing Pavements is really, really good as well - and that is from a guy who very rarely digs a clip.

Also, speaking of sassy - the new Kylie Minogue song is really sexy as well. And I aint a Kylie kind of guy. Check it out:-

I posted this thread nearly 3 years ago before Adele's 1st album, which was a huge success. Her new album is out in January and this is a a sneak peak of one of the tracks. I think it is absolutely stunning. What do you think?

Wow, she really does have a great voice. Shame she's the least attractive female singer since Alison Moyet. Otherwise she'd be a star for sure.#

Seems weird having a fatty sing about love. If you believe the music industry she'd never find anyone like him, and neither would any of her fat friends. We all know love songs are sung by, and for, good looking slim people.

I hope she can overcome the odds.

Her voice really is very good.
