Right now the money industry are lining up for the biggest US government handout ever. Bankers are a bunch of capitalists until they fuck things up by being greedy, then they turn into a bunch of socialists and ask the government for a bailout. A large amount of wealth is going to be transferred from working Americans to banks over the next few years via taxes, debt and inflation, the biggest single corporate socialist bailout in history. Even the debt and inflation makes money for the money industry -- your raging inflation is our record profits, interest rates have to go up to tame inflation so you pay us more interest on the debt you owe us for bailing us out. And this is apart from the huge regular corporate socialist subsidies paid every year to the healthcare/agriculture/pharmaceutical/war industries, to name but a few.

Yet Rush or whichever rightwing dickhead you listen to has you believing it's a few black welfare cheats that are putting your taxes up. Like illegal immigrants: black people vote 90% for Democrats because Democrats were being the civil rights bills. Hispanics will vote the same way for the same reasons in future. For decades the Democrats supported rights for illegals and this cost them votes and elections because the GOP pandered to the white majority over immigration. Now that the GOP need Hispanic votes to continue to win elections they're having to support what the Democrats have been advocating for decades. But all those years of demonising immigrants to their base are coming back to bite them, and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of racist panderers.
