haha i loved that guys comment also..
To be honest, I can BARELY watch UFC/MMA.. A buddy of mine does not stop talking how boxing is 'boring' and how even when UFC fans hate when guys are wrestling on the mat, he finds it interesting..
As i could go on forever about how much i hate MMA and all of the flaws i find within it, the major one would be the whole upset factor.. In MMA a lot of fighters records are something like 14-8, you know with a number of losses.. My point is that in MMA, I feel that it is so much easier to upset your opponent because you are more susceptible to getting hit with that lucky punch.. Any huge bulked up guy with no coordination could go in and KO someone if he was lucky enough.. In boxing, upsets are MUCH more exciting because I feel the fighter REALLY had to work hard for that upset.. Quintana/Williams is fresh in my mind as an example.. Quintana had to come out round after round and continue to push himself to his limits to defeat the champ.. now THAT is exciting..
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not discrediting any of the MMA guys talents or physical gifts or anything like that, i'm just criticizing the sport itself.
