I predict this one for Pavlik again, but something tells me this one is going the distance. I just predict Taylor will be a little more defensive minded and gun shy. It will still be a good fight though.

Pavlik KO. He was too strong last time and he'll be even stronger now. It could be Pavlik by decision if Taylor decides to run all night and fights super defensive. I could see him doing that and praying for the judges, always friendly in the past to bail him out.

Welcome aboard... Have some Rep. on me!

I'm just wondering how you figure that? He only got caught when he showboated... You think he's gonna make the same mistake twice? No... Plus the 6 ponds is in Pavliks favor due to his naturally larger frame

Going back to my post on page 1, Pavlik got "knocked down" when he was showboating, that does not mean if he didn't do that he wouldn't have gotten knocked down.. Jermain hit him with a hard ass right hand and Pavlik was on weak legs.. showboating or not he was hurt and Taylor was still coming with a ton of punches.. as i said, Taylor is getting discredited because of Pavlik's stupid showboating, but Taylor DID land a big punch without Pavlik showboating, and Taylor followed up with it.. Pavlik didn't get knocked down cause he stuck his chin out, Pavlik got knocked down cause Jermain landed the punches..

Anyway.. Come to Providence Sat night and pitch in on this $50 PPV

I'm siding with Taylor to win. I just can't forget how much better he looked in the earlier rounds. I think he will be smarter this time round and probably survive a few bad moments to win a UD.

I'll be rooting for Pavlik tho.

i say Pavlik, he has a lot riding on this and he beat the man once so that has to be a big confidence boost.plus Taylor seems nervous when he fights and that makes you gas out fast...either way i think this will be a great match

I'd like Pavlik to win, 'cause I've become a big fan. But I'm not so sure it's a done deal. Taylor's got the hunger back, and IMO he possesses considerably more boxing skills than Pavlik. Can't underestimate two things, however: Pavlik's heart, and Taylor's memory of the previous KO.
All in all, though... my prediction is Taylor by UD. I think he boxes Pavlik smartly and avoids trading. I also think Pavlik underestimates Taylor's skills for this rematch. Taylor by UD.

I'm starting to think the same as you. I think taylor will stay center ring and outbox pavlik, if he gets backed up to the ropes though Pavlik will knock him out again.

When has he not backed up to the ropes though really?

I mean that's one of his problems, he moves straight back more than side to side and he rarely holds his ground.

Maybe he can break a lot of his bad habits, backing up to the ropes, holding his left by his shoe, getting nervous as all hell. We'll see, I haven't seen any reason to think so, he does that stuff all the time.
