It's kinda mandatory over here really, but it actually mneans something to me because it's the anniversary of when me and my Girlfriend started going out.

Hey same here... It makes it easier than having 2 seperate days where your girlfriend wants extra attention..

I don't go all out,,, but I sent some flowers to her work and also the girl that works with her as we're all moving in with each other in a couple of weeks,, and thought I might earn some brownie points early with the other girl..

It will make up for those future awkwards "accidents"

We had a good night last night, presented her the flowers and we went to dinner which for me was a treat. Then we just went and do what we do so well together....Just kick back, laugh at a movie and generally be totally chillaxed. It was the business.

It makes it a million times easier to remember the anniversary as well! I'm hopeless with remember important dates.. So it's good to have a week or 2 of reminders.. Otherwise i'm sure i'd forget

i remember i was at the gym one year day after Vday and this one dude was telling me: man i cooked her filet mignon and lobster, got a $60 dollar bottle of wine! and all she did was give me head! she didnt let me hit it!

I usually remeber stuff, but you can apply a rule of thumb to me. Once a year I will forget 1 big event! The year before last I was in between exams and a family funeral and I forgot my birthday!!!
