I think Taylor will go gun shy as soon as he feels the power again and that will lead to his downfall.

i dunno i have a feeling that Taylor is gonna be all business tomorrow, and that he'll get Pavlik out of there, but i still figure Pavlik will have his moments. The thing is, don't get me wrong Kelly Pavlik is a hell of a fighter, but like always all the writers and most fans are already blowing him up to be something he's not, i mean Arum was referring to him as "The Greatest Middleweight Champion Ever", plz, Pavlik is a good fighter, but Marvin Hagler would have raped his ass in the ring lol
I expect the same outcome as the first.I just don't see what Jermain could different except get on his toes and box,but he's just not that type of fighter.Pavlik in 10.
I say it will be the same outcome as the first fight, Kelly KO's Taylor in the 7th round. That has been Kelly's magic round his last 2 fights.![]()
Pavlik will win on points. He will start slow, getting out boxed but then take over, hurt Taylor who will go in defensive mode and loose honourably on his feet.![]()
I would like to see Taylor win. And I think he could of if he switched to an experienced trainer after Steward. But he took 10 steps backwards by bringing in Ozell Nelson as the lead trainer.
I think Pavlik will win late KO, but will be pulling for Taylor
I think that Pavlik will repeat his TKO win. Pavlik has great power, great chin and can recover very well as he demonstrated with "La Pantera" and Taylor. Taylor can get hit and Pavlik will maintain a constant pressure. I don't think Taylor will be able to manage this for 12 rounds.
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
Taylor ko's Pavlik in the 4th....
i say Pavlik, he has a lot riding on this and he beat the man once so that has to be a big confidence boost.plus Taylor seems nervous when he fights and that makes you gas out fast...either way i think this will be a great match
Any more picks? Come on don't wait till after the fight to say you knew it all along.
I'd like Pavlik to win, 'cause I've become a big fan. But I'm not so sure it's a done deal. Taylor's got the hunger back, and IMO he possesses considerably more boxing skills than Pavlik. Can't underestimate two things, however: Pavlik's heart, and Taylor's memory of the previous KO.
All in all, though... my prediction is Taylor by UD. I think he boxes Pavlik smartly and avoids trading. I also think Pavlik underestimates Taylor's skills for this rematch. Taylor by UD.
When has he not backed up to the ropes though really?
I mean that's one of his problems, he moves straight back more than side to side and he rarely holds his ground.
Maybe he can break a lot of his bad habits, backing up to the ropes, holding his left by his shoe, getting nervous as all hell. We'll see, I haven't seen any reason to think so, he does that stuff all the time.
I hope Kelly "The Long Necked Goose" Pavlik get's beat like a congo drum
