What do you mean by that? Like there were less boxers in the world than there are now? So less competition. I don't believe that was the case. I could be wrong though.

Yes because there were only 7 fighters in the FW division at the time......

All Sarcasim aside..I ment in readily available comp...Guys did not travel so far back then unless there was a world title involved...Especially for the low paydays they got....Today weights like Flywt have the same problem still...Not enough star fighters to warrent big paydays to travel....

Ever take a look at the guys there...one day they fight a guy 42-2..next bout it is a guy 7-3...the one after 22-0 then 2-5.....These are guys near the top even.....Unless they have the big money fight they do not travel for the opp
