Not a robbery at all. Even you you thought JT won, how would you score it? 115-113 Taylor is most favorable you could score it for JT. I had it 116-112 Pavlik. Even fight after the 10th, I gave the last 2 to Pavlik. Too close to be a robbery in either direction. All the judges agreed. No robbery.

How? One punch equals one point, unless it causes a knock down. Taylor didn't land enough to win. He sure hit hard but when it only happens occasionally and the opponent isn't rocked by them it counts for nothing. Especially when he's getting backed up all night.

compubox was way off. Taylor defended great. Man I bet 500 bucks on taylor at the end of round 11, since the odds were 3.5=1 . I thought he had a substantial lead. Im pissed too ,

Ridiculus? Then your score must be ridiculous also since we just had a one round differential

Look, if you want to say Taylor's fewer, power punches outweighed the sheer number of Pavlik's punches that he landed, explain to me how Taylor couldn't see after the fight and Pavlik looked essentially unhurt. Pavlik landed more and did more damage. Period.

People should stop throwing around the word "robbery," it really devalues it.

Robbery= Roy Jones Jr. at the Olympics, not Taylor losing to Pavlik. Just because you thought he won doesn't make it a robbery, especially when you can find just as many, if not more, people who believe Pavlik won.

Did you see Taylor's right eye

He landed plenty, you must be very pissed if you thought Taylor won this fight. It was closer imo than the judges had it but Pavlik landed more punches, showed ring generalship and kept constant pressure throughout the fight.

Taylor landed occasional effective flurries but did not do enough to win.

    Robbery?

Taylor did a good job of keeping the fight in the center of the ring, I'll give him that, but he did not throw enough, and a lot of his punches were blocked by Kelly.

I had it 116-112 for Pavlik

    COMPUBOX
    Pavlik total punches: 267/845
    Taylor total punches: 178/456

    Pavlik total jabs: 144/484
    Taylor total jabs: 102/292

    Pavlik power punches: 123/361
    Taylor power punches: 76/164

fightnews never says the "total" truth . When Casayomer "beat" his last opponent , fightnews said something around the lines "Casamoyer won a controversial decision" They never really emphasize , and try to not take sides from what i realized. 116-112 Taylor wins it hands down. Harder punches, cleaner punches, enough to win .

116 - 112 Taylor no way thats ridiculus i had Taylor winning the fight by 2 rounds based on his cleaner work and defense. Hard fight to score but Taylor did enough to edge it for me shame the judges didnt think so

And you also had Taylor winning by a big margin in the 1st fight, and gave Taylor rounds that were clearly Pavlik's. So i cannot take your scoring seriously 116-112 are seriously kidding me ??

i actually had it 115-113 to Taylor close fight i was saying 116-114 was ridiculus. I saw 5 rounds Pavlik definatly won and 5 Taylor definatly won the other 2 rounds could have goe either way but i scored it to Taylor for the cleaner work. The first fight i had Taylor up by 1 point due to the knockdown going into the 8th.

The fight reminded me a little of Oscar v Floyd in the sense that Pavlik was throwing a lot of shots but JT block a hell of a lot of them. As for Compubox numbers they dont accuratly represent the fight as boxing is scored on a round by round basis so Pavlik may have thrown a lot more in one round than he did another thus skewing the overall numbers.

Not a robbery,I had Taylor up by one point but no robbery at all.Hey, I plead the 5th and blame the Coronas .Both showed great boxing and fought a well thought out game plan.Taylor appears far from shot and Pavlik Is a comer .Both showed Improvement.
Alot of people were treating this rematch like Taylor was being walked to the firing squad going in and That was not the case.I dont put alot of stock in HBO's punch #'s and the direct correlation to that =winning a round.Sometimes I wonder If they score a hit everytime Lampley shouts "BIG LEFT" etc.I know they contribute and might seem useful but Save the punch counting for the Amatuers and Olympics Imo.I try to break a round into three minutes and score on effective punching and ring generalship.A guy can land 10 thudding jabs and get countered 1 or 2 shots that move him In return....pick your poison.A fight is a case by case ,RBR affair.
