I think Taylor should forget Middleweight and stay where He is at. Trilogy ?
How? He went through some rounds with very low punch output and Pavlik was consistent throughout the fight. I don't see how people can score this fight to Taylor. I'm not a big fan of either guy but it wasn't like Taylor even hurt Kelly. He got hit but infrequently.

Really that far apart? Makes you wonder how much of those numbers are perception of clean shots. I didnt see it with Pavlik dominating but I guess he just outworked him, Taylor actually has the better land percentages.

I never thought so, I was waiting for one of them to get hurt to see how they dealt with it but it never happened.

Never get the result of a fight before you watch itit takes too much exitement and enjoyment away.

Taylor made adjustments in this one and Pavlik tried to punch holes through him.Alot like the first fight but Taylor fought Pavlik in center and "walked" him as opposed to clamoring off the ropes.Hey,they showed Taylor landed at a higher over all percentage so did he win ? Tune out the punch stats ,There over rated. I think they should fight a third but would it sell

Yes, I'm a Floyd fan. But you definitely don't have to be a Floyd fan to know that you don't need knockdowns to have an interesting fight.

Some of the greatest fights in the history of boxing have had no knockdowns.

Yeah, a third fight would be fascinating. Pavlik KO'd Taylor in the first one, outboxed him to a decision in the second, maybe he could try to win by DQ in the third.

Honestly, what are people watching? Jermain fought well and landed some good shots in the early to middle rounds, but Pavlik overwhelmed him in the second half of the fight. His left hand was glued to Taylor's face.

I'm not talking compubox stats just from watching the fight. Yes Taylor didn't let Pavlik put him on the ropes like the first fight but Pavlik was going forward for most of the fight. When Taylor got tired he went to the ropes and Pavlik won those rounds (the last 3). Taylor came forward and was valiant but he lost the fight, he got hit more than he hit the other guy, that's it.

I hope we don't see Taylor tuck tail and get on his bike for 12 rounds because if we do Jermain won't be effective going backwards, he'll be more concerned preventing himself getting starched. Taylor should come out like he did in the first fight, only this time make sure his chin is down and his defense is tighter. Jermain has a bigger arsenal than Kelly, he has more dimensions.

Pavlik will probably get to him, but I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor got to him - a lot of people have forgotten the second round
