Some good (and not so good) reads on here ...... but the best boxing book I have ever read is "On Boxing" by Joyce Carol Oates.
Highly recommended.

I've got a couple more for you
Looking for a fight by david matthews he's a journalist who decides that as he writes about boxing he should try it & the book takes you through all the heartaches of training & the infighting trying to get a pro licence for just one pro fight. It's a great read
