Man you people that say you lost respect for him, you're crazy. This is a great oppertunity for him to take yet another step towards making himself a household name. Wrestlemania is like the superbowl of pro wrestling, he's going to introduce himself to a LARGE group of people, just like he did with Dancing with the Stars. And if people know who Floyd mayweather is, they're going to show more interest in seeing him fight.
I agree...good opportunity for him to get his name out there to the non-hardcore fans. Anything that gets more people to watch boxing, in my opinion, is a good thing.
Floyd hit the big slow and then ran like the wind

I agree, I think people are missing the point that this is all about publicity.
Wrestling fans also must purchase tickets or buy a PPV to watch the biggest events, just like in boxing. Introduce them to Mayweather, and you now have a group of people who are willing to shell out $50-$60 on a PPV that are now interested in PBF.
I have no interest in WWE/WWF whatever it is. But I'm interested to see how the Mayweather thing plays out. So wrestling gets cross over appeal too.

Good post, glad to see someone here gets it. Right now, Floyd is doing a ton of stuff to market himself to a wider audience. Dancing with the Stars, playing in the celeb game at the NBA all-star weekend, now Wrestlemania.
This is all done because the more people know him, the more marketable he is as a fighter. If going on Wrestlemania gets some wrestling fans to order his next fight, then why would anyone here have a problem with that? The more people watching boxing, the better.
Give Floyd credit for marketing himself, unlike someone like Roy Jones, who spent his whole career blowing people off and therefore never achieving mainstream popularity.
