Worst Hockey Accident

...that's pretty bad, Paul Karyia had a pretty bad accident in hockey when someone stepped on his forearm....and guys have been smacked in the face with the puck before as well.

Zednick is damned lucky and smart to have skated to the bench...he lost like 5 pints of blood or something crazy like that

Oh by the way I did a google search on Richard Zednick and actually the clip you posted isn't it.

The clip is actually from 1989 and a player called Malarchak or something.

Zednick was an outfield player and there are vids of that on youtube too.

Incdently, Malarchak, the guy in Gorillas vid, returned to pratcise only 4 days laters after having 300 stitches!

Only two weeks after the incident he was back playing again!

A swedish player Bengt Akerblom died of the same injury in 1995 though

They are either called a winger or a forward...get it right!




And for everyone's information they DO have neck protectors only players usually don't wear them as it's a freak accident to get cut in the neck with a skate.
