So you're facing a non-military threat from terrorists. Still no reason to have a military. Nobody could afford to invade you apart from the States. The only reason to have a military is if you think they're going to invade. You're not going to get invaded by terrorists. You don't stop them with a military, they're an intelligence and police threat. Every available American and British soldier has been in Iraq for the last five years and created the world centre of terrorism while terrorism has increased worldwide by thousands of percent, while handing control of the world's second-largest oil reserve to an axis-of-evil terrorist nation. So clearly the military isn't the way to go on this one.

Canada faces zero threat of invasion now that it's handed the rights to its natural resources over to America. Now or in the future. It's just too cold and really not worth the bother or the expense.

Something does need to be done about the health insurance issue it needs to be corrected but the quality of treatment we have in America is pretty fucking good....it's just expensive. Look at successful treatment rates for cancer, any kind of cancer between the US and any other country....we usually come out on top. Now all we have to do is make this kind of care affordable to the masses and it needs to have reasonable policies in regards to how policies are handled, that's the big issue. Right now people get sick and the insurance companies or health groups can say "See ya later chump" and they are stuck without insurance OR the person can just get fired and that ends their health benefits OR they die and their family is left shit out of luck unless one of them has health insurance coverage from somewhere else.

Ummm Lyle that because 4.7 million cancer deaths in 07 happened in developing nations,compaired to 2.9 in the industrialised world.
