I suspect Andy Lee was a major sparring partner for him as well as Johnathan Banks
Lyle, have you seen Jonathan Banks? I think he just bumped up to heavyweight, but he's another reason why the future of the HW division is bright. After that fight on ESPN he showed just how much chin and heart he has and the guy is as composed as can be. To spar with Klitschko has got to be doing volumes for his game. Plus, I had an opportunity to speak with Emmanuel Steward and he said working the corner helps to make you a better fighter. Banks has appeared in a couple pros' corners and also went out with the amateur team.

Just caught his post fight interview talking about the rope he's carrying to the ring. At first I thought it was a tribute to all those who died in Bridgend but apparently it's some kind of publcity stunt to attach Wlad's good name to poor kid's in the Bronx.

Whatever he meant I didn't really like it, stick to carrying out your philanthropic works for God with some of kind of chaste privacy code and in private, not announcing it to all of us so that we support you in the fight.

Sultan, I know you have no chance buddy, but I hope you can pull this off. Knock him out, fucking dogooder

You might have to be on bottom. He's tall and it might be a little awkward for him to bend over for you.

I think you only have to look back at Ibragimov's last opponent to see why Klitschko decided to drop the weight. It wasn't a matter of being out of shape; that extra muscle might make him a click or two too slow to keep up with Ibragimov. I think Sultan's plan is to give a lot of angles, move in and out and be everywhere Wlad isn't throwing a punch. Wlad probably added a lot more cardio and concentrated way less on the weights with the idea in mind that it just might go all 12. Even if he had done his usual training and caught Ibragimov flush that wouldn't have been a guarantee he would have stayed down let alone fell in the first place. Klitschko doesn't want to look like he's moving in slo-mo or burn out by the 4th and I think tomorrow he'll be ready to do that.
