I look at this argument on both sides of the coin, because people in this thread are saying some stupid things.

Firstly, the idiot that said Joe's win over Kessler wasn't great. I'm sorry but thats just fucking stupid. 29 year old undefeated big puncher with 2 belts in your division and Joe stepped up and outclassed him.

Secondly, Joe didn't avoid Toney as Toney was fighting at Cruiser at the time Joe beat Eubank, and he tried to make a fight with Hopkins previously before Hopkins walked out of the deal.

Ottke also walked away from a fight with Joe. He had 5 KO's and pretty much knew that Joe would cream him.

But...while I like Joe, I would have to agree that he's had options to move up and face better opposition such as Glen Johnson...and even Clinton Woods and has neglected to fight them to stay at Super-Middleweight to defend a title and safely protect Warren's investment. He should have moved up to Light-Heavy years ago, and beating 42 Year Old Hopkins who has fought one legit Light-Heavy is not going to be enough to convince me he has beaten everyone. I honestly wonder that even if he took a fight with Roy Jones now, whether or not he'd come out on top. It's frustrating because he has talent, but he just has never cashed in on it.

He should have gone to the US too. This is why people have respect for Hatton. Because he always chased the hardest possible fight he could find in Mayweather. If Floyd had been a Light-Heavy, I think Joe would have stayed at 168 and retired before chasing a fight against the best P4P fighter in the world.
