....Sounds like it lived up to everyones hopes on how good it was going to be....

Well to answer your question it was a great boxing match mixed in with a brutal slugfest if you understand what i mean. Marquez IMO won the early rounds by using the jab to good effect, in the 4th he badly hurt Vasquez with a left hook and dropped him, but amazingly Vasquez got straight back up and staggered Marquez and then they both stood toe to toe and went at it like crazy men, after about round 6 Vasquez made it his kind of fight by landing good shots on the inside and Marquez was wearing down. The low pentalty for Marquez was BS he only landed a few low blows, and none of them wear south of the border they were all on the belt line, I had Vasquez losing coming into the 12th. But he come out like a raging pitbull and just swarmed all over Marquez and dominated him for the entire round. Marquez went down near the end of the round, only the ropes kept him up, the ref gave Marquez a standing 8 count and Marquez survived the round.
Vasquez won SD here were the judges scorecards.
114-111 Marquez, 114-111 Vasquez, 113-112 Vasquez.
The point deduction made a big difference.

One of the best trilogy I've seen.
What the hell was Marquez doing in 12th round?
