I don't think it is Buddy, I think it is the fact he'll take on any ol' bum and work on him. He has some good names in there but you can't fix a broken fighter, especially a veteran one. These guys aren't gonna really change when it comes down to a tough fight. They always revert back to what they were. Buddy does have a bad streak lately tho, lol.
If I'm not mistaken,he trains Vernon Forest. He is scheduled to,or trying to,fight Sergio"latin Snake" Mora. You can count on a destruction there and Mcgirt 's guy will be the one left standing.
HAHA..Latin Snake vs. Viper, just realized that

I think Ronnie Shields has to beat him by now. You always see Shields in the corner of a fighter who loses. I mean he knows what he is talking about just like McGirt but there fighter's just simply lose.

McGirt was all the rage back in the early 2000s. Didn't he win trainer of the year award?

Gatti's victories over Ward and Tarver spanking Roy.. he was in the corner of some pretty famous winners.

I think Ronnie Shields is a decent trainer, I like his style better than Buddy's...Buddy offers no advice in tough situations he just says he'll stop the fight.

I think Lou Duva has cost his guys some big fights when he was training

Somebody should research his win/loss record as a trainer

The last fights I remember him winning was a few Malignaggi fights and the Adamek-Briggs rematch. Other than that...I'm drawing a blank.

No i'm pretty sure Paulie's success coincided with him leaving Buddy McGirt.

There are three things you gotta know about boxing - Don't believe Teddy Atlas predictions, don't be one of Buddy McGirt's fighter and never join Don Kings promotion.
