    Default The last round...

since the "Knock down" was right at the end i think its possible to ask this and assume weather it was a Knock down or not nothign would of changed...

who else had it as a 10-8 round before the ref ruled the knock down?

Isreal beat the crap out of rafa all the way through it, rafa was hardly throwing or landing and grabbed hold of him 4 times during the round, that was more holds in that round than i can remeber in the entire 25 rounds...

I had i 10-8 regardless of the knock down being legit or not, i figured maybe iw as bing a bit bias as i was gunning for Isreal to win it, just.

I though it was a draw, but I wouldnt argue with any of the judges scorecards to be honest as some of the rounds were close. Either way Vasquez deservedly retained the title. But both guys showed the heart of a champion and showed the world why they are the elite in their division.

It would of been a 10-9 round without the knock down. Vazquez dominated the round. But he didn't land really punishing shots until the punches that led to the knock down.

I dunno man, that str8 right he threw at the start took loads of of rafa and i thought he hit him with some real cracking shots.

you would of had a better view tho watching it on a big screen in perfect quality, i had a 'decent' download so wont really argue with you about it.

The first right hand and the shots at the end were Vazquez best punches. No doubt he won the round. But he needed the knock down to make it 10-8

I scored that round 10-8 with the KD.

10-9 if without the KD which would've been resulted a draw.

    What a fight!

like a true champion vazquez did what he had to do to keep his title. he went out to seek and destroy rafa and he did just that.

I had Marquez by a point. Would of been happy with a draw. Can't really argue with Vazquez winning

Right before the 12th and the KD...Definatley legit..I added up and Marquez ahead.Vasquez closed that round out like a true champion and MANY other Fighters should take note.Equal was Marquez the warrior for hanging in there and climbing up.

When Marquez hit the corner and sank.....I was Very certain Ref was calling it,Chavez & Taylor flashed through my head. I had It even at the end.

I feel that Israel had a 10-8 round w/o a knockdown as well. Marquez was on the back foot, holding, and completely spent. Vasquez stalked and battered him. I feel a round so one-sided warrants a 10-8 score, Vasquez looked very dominant in the 12th

I was thinking the same thing. If They had fought In NewYork say ,They encourage a liberal point system and very well might have had a 10-7 round.Hell of a way to close.
