Have there been many better trilogies?

I don't think footage of the first two fights exist. I've seen parts of the 3rd and that was brutal, crazy ref as well, only the ropes holds Rocky up at one point and the ref grabs his arms straightens him up and pushes him into the centre of the ring to be KTFO lol. Vicious two punch combo to finish him off, they don't make refs like they used to.

Most accounts claim the first two were just as brutal, so it's certainly up there as one of the great trilogies.

There is certainly clips of the first and second fights. If you can get your hands on a copy of Ferdie Pacheco's DVD "12 greatest rounds of boxing" I believe rounds of the first fight are included.
