Yeah I know exactly what you mean.
The fact is that journeymen, veterans and prospects make up 90% of the fight game. Every fighter can't be a world champion. Respect should be allowed for all fighters, not just the best.

There is a strange breed who call themselves boxing fans but seem to passionately despise virtually all boxers, bar their own two or three favourites. You don't get it in other sports. No golf fan, say, would describe a player who finished 30th in the Masters as a bum or garbage because he finished a few shots behind Tiger Woods.
