Aren't you all a bunch of thankful school girls. I thank God that Ruiz is finally getting in the title hunt again.

I am also thankful that Bilbo could get laid if he wanted to [so he alleges].

Nice thread Bruce, I've become more appreciative of the spiritual side of life in the past year.

    I thank God for

    - Giving me health. Nothing I have achieved or may achieve would be possible without it.

-Granting me the family I have. The foundation of my life.

    - Alllowing me to begin a family of my own with a beautiful kind lady.

    - Helping me along the way. We've found out in recent weeks how much strength God can grant me.

Although on the whole, I'm an ungrateful selfish person I think that deep down I do realise how much God does for me and I try to remember.

I think that no matter what way we look at it, It's only proper to show gratitude for the blessings we have.

very true. life in itself is a blessing.

Even this forum had been a great blessing for me. While I was anxious of whether I will pass my comprehensive exams, this forum made me forget about that anxiety.

.......The reason why I'm actually sticking in this forum despite the fact that I have my own site to attend to.In one way or another, I'm grateful to all the people in this forum.

...... it's nice to be friends with you guys even though I may never meet any one of you in person.

I agree.. I didn't say we shouldn't show gratitude, just asked "WHO" we'd be thanking..

I ask because I think religion has had such a negative effect in our world that I find it hard to even entertain myself to believe in a 'god'.. The closest i'd come is buddhism, but that is more of a way of life then worshiping of a god, which i find alright..

I just think it's funny to plays devil's advocate and just pretend there is no God.. We're all greatful for what we have, our health, our wealth etc, but without a God, who do we thank.. it would sound funny for a grown person to be thanking Santa Claus, someone who we all know is a mythological figure.. So when i picture God that way, then you can see the humor? Science?

I suppose we'd just leave it at, 'i'm lucky' and 'i'm greatful'.. that works for me.

ps: i don't mean to offend anyone or their religion, i'm just saying be open minded.. i'm not trying to convert anyone to atheism, as i said i could careless about the idea of religion, but I do respect others beliefs.

    Great Question!

    OURSELVES!

And right there lays the key to the other big question regarding the creative force behind matter, invisible, visible ,negative and positive blah blah.

It is "everything" expanding outwards from the source.

The question really is.. to all who choose to only be able to think in physical I touch I belive type of terms:
Has that source got a consiousness or is it all just one big coincedence.

I belive personally that there are no coincedences, everything is what we attract in by careing or choosing ,if we dont we leave openings and things then can just pour in randomly if we choose to not care or not to be bothered.

MAtter is controlable through thought and care.

Physical is controlled through mental ,mental through feelings.

Its all energy ,energy making consious choices to experience its self in different situations in more dimensions than we can ever know.

Thumbs up Re: Things to thank God for today!!!

This week, I thank GOD for answering my prayer (as I predicted and stated back in Janurary in the physic ability thread someone started out on the front page here)

That the largest pedafile ring be busted clean open and many abused kids let free.

I hid the meaning with letters only originally and then filled in the words today as it occured. No edits.
