Lyle its a fair point about British accents , but your from the deep south right its an interesting accent , sometimes sounding kinda dumb , but besides that you still marry your 12 year old cousins down there ?

Yes some southern accents sound idiotic but there are others which sound pretty good, even aristocratic. And North Carolina ain't exactly the "deep south" that term is better left for Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisianna, and Arkansas

hahahaha...but seriously, no we don't marry our cousins those theories are born from the isolated small towns which were hard to get to and away from before solid transportation came along....I never understood why only the South got that reputation, the North, Europe, and other areas did the same thing.
