Sorry if I go off here but Don King is nothing but a mindless, stupid, racist crook,Murderer, who slings a bunch of words together in which can not be analyzed because they have no meaning whatsoever.Whom also rips people off and makes a living off of old punch drunk fighter's and young blood's (no not gang members) who are stupid into believing anything the man says because he sling's so much bullshit jibberish. So fighter's with not one intelligent bone in their body believe him.
FUCK DON KING!!!
He's a troll looking freak, money grabbing scum of the earth. But he's also responsible for producing some great fights.
Don is a man whose misdeeds have been forgiven in the past as a result of the matches that he did provide.
However, it is my belief that King has only ever manipulated boxing in ways which serve his purposes and benefit him financially. Recently this has been illustrated by his handling of Lightweight Champ and future superstar, Juan Diaz.
In the past fighters as notable as Tyson have been blatantly twisted and turned as the meandering Mind of King sought new and innovative ways in which he could create finance.
It is my view that the man has no respect for the fight game, no respect for it's fighters and no respect for other human beings.

I think he must be an excellent businessman.. Other then that, I rreally have no basis to judge him... Sure he's done his share to ruin fighters in the past, and generally his fighters are not treated with their, or their fans interest at the forefront... But that's likely just part of what makes him a good businessman, he thinks for himself first as all in the business do. One things for sure, if I were a fighter I'd go with Bob Arum in a heartbeat... For one you can actually understand what he's saying, he's also been on a roll in recent years putting great cards together, and seems a bit less merciless with the way he treats his fighters. You could argue though, that a Don King type promoter is good for boxing fans, as I feel he is less reluctant to throw his fighters in against the odds.
Many people say that he's the worst human being out there and all but seriously, I can't think of ANY other promoter out there who came up with the fighting cards he brought us.
I remember when Chavez was under his wing and me and my family would order the fights and every single fight in the undercard were good matches and not some journeymen or a well-known guy against a journeyman.
Remember the "Revenge: The Rematches"? Nowadays, I would expect each of those fights in the undercard to be main events but nope, Don King put them in ONE CARD. Not bad, not bad.
King is almost irrelevant. And that is a good thing. King is bad for boxing because when he promotes a champion, he will not allow anyone to fight that champion unless they sign a contract agreeing that King will be their promoter should the challenger win. That is why the Klitschkos refuse to fight a Don King fighter.
This practice gave him monopally in the 90's and helped king screw over fighters while making himself rich. In fact, Buster Douglas had to be King 2.5 million dollars out of his Holfield fight, so that king would allow the fight, which he was not promoting.
I don't like the guy.....but i bet when it's all said and done most of these promoters are just a shady as he is.
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
It's sad to hear about promoters not doing the right thing but has any promoter out there brought undercards as good as Don King's? Don King's undercards are many promoter's MAIN EVENT.
The best promoter of all time. He has had some great cards in that time and has manipulated fighters and the system for years to stay at the top. The only thing stopping him stepping on Golden Boy Productions testicles is his age.
