Could be man, I find it difficult to judge as Oscar fights so seldomnly now,

If you had asked me a year ago who I'd have picked my automatic response would have beemn De la Hoya but in the time that has passed Oscar has been inactive, Cotto has become a true Welter and my theory was made at the peak that was culminated by the Mosely victory.

I have to admit I am interested in this fight.

Delahoya is at his best when he dosent have to be the aggressor. A come forward pressure fighter like Cotto is stylistically a comfortable matchup for Oscar

5'10 1/2 73 in reach compared to 5' 7 67 in reach I mean with a 6 in reach advantage I see Cotto getting throttled

    Thats interesting!
I guess that this fight would indeed draw a crowd then, not only ofpeople watching because of the names, but out of curiosity as to the result.

If it were to happen this year, I think I'd stick with Cotto winning on Points!

Oscar is not the fighter he once was.
One body shot from Hopkins and that was all she wrote.

Cotto who is a pretty good body puncher himself, would go to town on Oscar's soft body.

Little Floyd goes 24 rounds with Oscar.

Good point Danny G. Or maybe ODLH will get in the ring with a guy that was made for his style and hits Cotto easily with straights, hooks, jabs, etc. and rocks Cotto just like others already have. Straight-forward boxers have not been a threat for ODLH. Many people wish ODLH the worse, well, get him in the ring with Cotto! They'll be happy to see him loose or they'll end up hating ODLH more when he beats Cotto. Can go either way.

I think if Oscar decides to fight Cotto it will be his last fight.....whether he wants it to be or not.

If Floyd's hook hurt ODH then Cotto is going to put him to sleep. And let's not underestimate Cotto's hand speed and timing...he's a damn good fighter and he can box when need be

Did Floyd hurt ODLH with a body punch? I missed it. There's one punch that almost every video on YouTube keeps repeating when the round finished and Oscar was backing up and got a straight right. Good punch, good timing (right when the round finished) but its not like "Oh my gawd, ODLH can't continue because of that punch".

I don't remember seeing both of them hurt. Just fighting cautious.

Hey Chino, i readed some of your thread and i see that you are SPECULATING too much my friend ..... i agree that ODLH is good with the Straight-Forward boxers , but ODLH isnt the same like before , now he is out of his Prime and he changed his style too , if you think that he can fight the same way, when he fought to Trinidad ; believe me that he cant make it , that is why he changed his style with less movement , With less movement do you think that he can hold of Cotto body punches? Dont think that ODLH is the same like before , he get yet a good condition but with Cotto he has less probability for win , im sure about that......

Every time you see Miguel Cotto cut or bruised, look across the ring.

Each time the other guy has looked three times as bad.

They're both excellent liver punchers. They have so much power with their left hands coz they're both natural leftys - fighting in conventional stand.
