I seriously disagree. Gatti's best chance was to land a great power shot and hurt PBF. His best chance was to make it a rough fight. As is anyone's best chance against PBF. PBF is known as a fast slick boxer and you're saying Gatti's best chance was to outbox him? No way that would happen, it is possible for Gatti to land the perfect shot on his chin and put him to sleep.

If your strategy is to make it last the longest, he should have done a Ruiz and hugged him to death. He's supposed to come up with a strategy that gives your fighter the best chance to win, then it's up to the fighter to implement it. Taking into account what your fighters strengths are, I stick to my opinion that it was criminal to expect Gatti to outbox PBF. The results speak for themselves.

If he would have went in "bombs away" the result may have been the same, but he also probably would have had a scary moment or 2 for PBF. As it stands he didn't do anything to speak of....
