I think what happened here is that the PC at your work is not equipped with a Flux Capacitor.
I suggest you tell your boss to grab a couple from the local PC store and install them. I'm sure your boss will compensate you for this.

If not, I have a preliminary question. How are you attempting to open the file on your work PC? by double clicking on the file?

I wasted my money on one of those a few weeks ago because it was an old version Flux and didn't have a USB connection Although the store said it would work perfectly with my laptop...

I've since researched and it's the 2.0 model that works on new P.C's..
