I just read a quote from Marquez on how he took Pac easy in the 1st fight . I aint buying it though . . .

"And he was so confident, he was so relaxed in the first half of the first round. ... And I was thinking to myself, 'This is not the way he's supposed to be fighting,' because he seemed so relaxed. And knowing Manny Pacquiao, that he is like a wild guy because he throws punches from everywhere, I knew that at a certain time, a certain point in the fight, he was
(going to connect) with Juan Manuel Marquez. And he did it."

Hes just trying to explain why he was caught cold but the truth is he was caught napping and couldnt deal with Pacs speed early . If he is alert from the start this time then it will be like the 1st fight without a 10-6 round so he'll take it on points . He cant be "over confident " this time though

Marquez's main goal is to stay alert at all times, and no more eating Pac's left hands.

Totally agree. Marquez should be alert of not eating Pac's straight lefts like he did on round one. Pac should be alert of not eating Marquez left and right hands for 11 straight rounds like on their last fight.

It's gonna be an action-packed fight (I hope) , anything can happen.

I agree, you are not going to tell me he had no clue Pac was really fast with his straight left. Know and avoiding it are 2 different things?

You guys act as if you have been watching boxing for over 20 years. Based on your sign up dates you all must of had a BBQ and some San Miguels and decided to join Saddo.

So i guess you delicate flowers will deduct more points from me because I hurt your itty bitty feelings. Then again maybe not, I have not made a negative comment towards your Messiah ..

Bring on Soto, Juan Diaz and Guman and lower the age requirements. Pac should win this fight, I just anxious to see if JMM can muster up one last effort. More interested in A Pac vs Baby Bull match or a sibling revenge fight with Soto. Not a circus match against a UK midget with little over rated skills.

Do you know that JMM didnt want an immediate rematch dont you?

I told him about it Miron but he still insists that it's Pacquaio who avoided JMM.

Addicted knows nothing about the issue (and may be about boxing) but he insists that he's only giving an opinion not accusation.

    Pac-Hater to the bone!!!!

He's one of those posters who visits this forum when Pacquaio is about to fight somebody and loves to discredit and disrespect PAcman. After the fight, he's gone.

I don't know about his issues against Pacman but I believe he has something deeper against Pacman.

This must be some kind of conspiracy!!!
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

Yes, if not for the ref scoring the first round wrong. Jmm will need to pull off another best performance of his life just to survive again let alone win. Worst of all, for jmm his facing an even better pacman. Not only did but he piss pacman off by saying pac is not a mexican killer. Ok pac doesn't like to be dubbed that and the race thing is stupid but its not what jmm said its how jmm was saying things that got under pacs skin. Now pac is in the gym focus and in murderous mode. For a long long time no reports of pac bein unfocus and all the bs that comes before his fights. Jmm not only had it bad before, now he made it even worst by pissing pac off. No doubt jmm won't survive this time. The great counter puncher JMM wll get countered by a right hook and down and out he'll be.
so are you saying JMM didn't get any better.

i'm gonna say this to give you Pac fans something to think about. PAC knock JMM down 3 times in the 1st round and JMM comes back to make it an extreemly close fight. fight many including myself felt he won. what makes you so sure that he can finish him? he couldn't do it then. i'm gonna re watch the fight with in the next week so i can tell you exactly how JMM will win.

this fight should have happen at least 3 years ago.

    It should've, but it didn't.

Pac wasn't even in his prime yet when he floored prime JMM 3x.

Now, PRIME PAC vs 3 YEARS PAST HIS PRIME JMM?... go figure.
