Did Floyd hurt ODLH with a body punch? I missed it. There's one punch that almost every video on YouTube keeps repeating when the round finished and Oscar was backing up and got a straight right. Good punch, good timing (right when the round finished) but its not like "Oh my gawd, ODLH can't continue because of that punch".

I don't remember seeing both of them hurt. Just fighting cautious.

Oscar was attacking and Floyd threw a short hook to the chin and ODH's legs gave a bit....if Floyd makes him do that then Cotto is going to have a field day with him.

If an unknown guy like Torres gave trouble to Cotto with a few punches imagine what ODLH can do. Wasn't Torres the guy that made Cotto dance across the ring with a flurry of punches? Imagine if it was ODLH. Cotto has got rocked or cut in many fights.

Why if this fighter is so flawed, are ODLH and PBF avoiding him today?

    FEAR!

ODLH: "My wife wont let me fight anymore Puerto Ricans"

Floyd: "I'm retired. I am a wrestla' now.

I am dismissed?...*Chino walks out of the room*...*thinks about it and comes back*

Silly Danielle, just shows how Cotto is not as perfect as many want to make him sound. I agree ODLH has shown flaws but so does Cotto. In many of his fights he gets easily cut and even rocked by journeymen. Now, someone made a good pint and I agreed about what would happen if he got hit with a nice body punch, sure, fair enough. But now I make the same question, what would happen if those flurry of punches that rained on Cotto before from different journeymen came from ODLH or Mayweather? See what I mean?

Mayweather and ODLH has faced EVERYONE out there, specially ODLH. Just look at his resume. Waiting for a fighter to make his name more marketable is a smart move to make an extra buck, who wouldn't do that?

Cotto easily cut? In many of his fights?

    When did he start cutting?
    Urkal

Urkal head butted Cotto for 11 rounds.

Judah hit him with that sneaky upper that cut him
Head butt with Judah caused a cut
Mosley head butt caused a cut
Lip is still soft from Judah and Cotto will probably still cut but he will still win.

Cotto has only been cut in his last three fights and this only because he has not let his cuts heal. He has been fighting about 4 times a year.

Corley had Mayweather hurt a couple of times. Same journey man that hurt Mayweather hurt Cotto.

Zab Judah gave Floyd a hell of a fight and even knocked Floyd down. Same journey man hurt Cotto a couple of times.

Torres rocked Cotto and Torres has a heavy hand. Torres is a champion today.

Silly China. Who won that fight?

    Sit down.

Torres is a Champion today. Heavy handed kid.
Cotto still went to war. Cotto is a gladiator.
I am not say ODLH isn't. I am saying ODLH is not the same young man he once was and Cotto would eat the old man up.

Did Floyd try to throw body shots?
When is the last time you saw Floyd take some one out with a body shot?
    1822?

Cotto would take Olden Boy to school and make him quit on his stool.

There are plenty of fighters who Floyd could not hurt or take out and yet Cotto came by and destroyed the SHIET out of them.
    Case in point?
    Victoriano Sosa
    DeMarcus Corley
Zab Judah (Cotto finished him, Floyd didn't)
Floyd at the time claimed Justin Juuko was the toughest fighter he had faced and yet Cotto took him out in 5. Floyd took 9

The record has shown that any fighter PBF can beat, Miguel can beat them better and sooner.
Oscar would be no different. Cotto at this point would man handle the old man and yet Floyd will dance for 12.

Oh right I forgot it was a split decision and that was no beating.

Floyd has been given two gifts in his career.

    Castillo 1
    ODLH 1

It has always been said by the purist if not the purist at heart, that you have to BEAT the champion and Floyd did not beat anything but his puny little chest before and after the fight but during the fight he beat nothing.

I know Cotto can take the Olden one out

....I just wish Cotto would have fought Hatton first....it wouldn't have taken so damn long to end the fight.

Floyd is very skilled but why so cocky when there are a plethera of WORTHY fighters at his weight just sitting waiting for him to fight them.

My big issue with Floyd is that he COULD be the greatest, he has the opportunity but he's not taking it. I mean are you telling me having Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosley, and other big names on his resume wouldn't solidify his place at the top if he was able to beat those guys This is why I think Floyd is more PRIZE and less fighter

Cotto/Hatton would have been a better fight. I mean having to watch Floyd run from Hatton all night and ducking below Hatton's waist the entire fight was a bit over done. Floyd only caught Ricky after Ricky was tired. Cotto would have taken little Ricky out in 5

I will give credit to Floyd for the knock out but Floyd kept throwing that check hook over and over and over again and he missed a lot. He threw them like hail Mary's (So much for the accurate great one here) If Ricky had not chased Floyd around for 10 rounds it might have been a different fight even more boring Had Ricky not chased Floyd around the ring and into the corners, Ricky would not even have been knocked out. It would have went down as another pretty boring fight by Pretty Boring Floyd.

I have plenty of theories of how to fight PBF but no one seems to be able to impliment them other than Miguel Cotto.

Cotto isn't one to get involved in the prefight hype....he's a stone faced killer.

If you're going to push Floyd to the ropes, don't let him turn you OR escape.

If you're trying to stalk him down, take your time, don't rush into anything or he'll counter you...fight at your pace because Floyd let's other fighters control the pace because he hardly ever chooses to engage first.

You HAVE to bully Floyd, foul him, elbow him, take him out of his regular game....don't lose points just do enough to piss him off or scare him....throw him to the ground if he initiates a clinch.

If Cotto hits him on his arms enough, that defense of his will fail and those quick counters either won't be as quick or won't be as hard

Basically you either have to fight like Tommy Hearns or Roberto Duran
