I have plenty of theories of how to fight PBF but no one seems to be able to impliment them other than Miguel Cotto.

Cotto isn't one to get involved in the prefight hype....he's a stone faced killer.

If you're going to push Floyd to the ropes, don't let him turn you OR escape.

If you're trying to stalk him down, take your time, don't rush into anything or he'll counter you...fight at your pace because Floyd let's other fighters control the pace because he hardly ever chooses to engage first.

You HAVE to bully Floyd, foul him, elbow him, take him out of his regular game....don't lose points just do enough to piss him off or scare him....throw him to the ground if he initiates a clinch.

If Cotto hits him on his arms enough, that defense of his will fail and those quick counters either won't be as quick or won't be as hard

Basically you either have to fight like Tommy Hearns or Roberto Duran

Well this basicly explains what Floyd is all about.

He is nothing more than an opportunist
He uses his speed to be tricky. He throws shots when you are not prepared. One of his greatest slick moves is to hit you ASAP after a break. Most fighters pause after a break and that is when Floyd strikes.

He tried and tried to hit Ricky with that hail Mary and after 10 rounds it worked. There was nothing really fancy about Floyd maybe round 5 and 9 other than that, he was shiet ducking below the waist of his opponet the entire fight. Don't chase Floyd so much and he will not look so good either

Funny how Floyd talks about a fighter Cotto destroyed. I know Cotto was caught with a temple shot but Chop chop also had Floyd hurt too. Bottom line is Cotto took Chop Chop out and Floyd couldn't.
