    Default Diaz-Campbell

I think this could be good. Conventional wisdom is that you should try to box and move against Diaz but Campbell's not a stick and move type guy, I think this will be a fight. Campbell's a good body puncher too, interesting to see if he gets there, people really haven't concentrated on this with Diaz.

Still Diaz is probably too quick, too accurate and Nate's getting a bit up there. So I'm going with Diaz, definitely want him to win.

Really looking forward to this and Enzo-Haye, should be nice. Couldn't give a shit about Peter-Maskaev but you never know it could be allright in a sloppy sort of way.

    Picks? Anybody care?

I've never seen Nate Campbell fight before but I doubt I would have bet on him anyway. Diaz is just too good to go against.

Campbell will make this an interesting fight because his focus will be at an all time high, and the guy has talent he is just an underachiever, I think he has the best chance out of all the underdog's this weekend

Diaz-Campbell will steal the show. Diaz is a relentless attacker.

    Diaz by UD.

Nate is a crafty counter puncher, this will definately be the best fight on the card IMO. Campbell is gonna have to block alot of shots in this one because Diaz throws those flurries. If Campbell can stay defensive the first half of the fight I think Diaz will tire. Nate also needs to do good bodywork early and often. Diaz does leave himself open alot but has a decent chin so this could be going the distance.

Diaz DOESN'T tire. And the thing about counter-punching- usually you do it AFTER the other guy stops throwing.

Campbell is 35 years old. I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be one-sided.

I will never ever bet on Campbell winning especially after i see him make a right clown of himself, putting his hands down against Robbie Peden and getting blasted out.

A undermentioned Very good fight.Campbell deserves a shot and will be in peak condition for Diaz.Campbell has big pop from various angels to both the head and body.I think to have a chance here he'll have to bully Diaz and walk through and or avoid ALOT of punches early and assert some hurt early. If he can back Diaz up,It could get Intersesting. If he waits to counter Diaz he will be waiting until the next A.M.

Diaz is a sensational pressure guy,Relentless with great handspeed and a work rate that is nearly unmatched among todays fighters. The one thing that I believe can surface eventually as a problem can be his seemingly lack of gears.........The ability or willingness to down shift from a constant franetic pace.Chin is pretty sturdy and conditioning looks solid through out,Im Picking Diaz by u.12 but would love hard luck (some brought himself) Campbell to take the title.Just do not see it.

He stops but its after about 7-8 punches , If Campbell can avoid getting caught in those flurries, that takes a little out of you throwing that many punches. I said I wouldn't pick against Diaz anymore, but this is the hardest fight for him IMO at lightweight, considering Casamayor isn't what he used to be.

I think you could be right, but I really hope we don't see it going that way. Maybe it's just wishful thinking as I've always liked Campbell, but I really believe he'll do well for himself in this fight. Even if he doesn't win, I think he'll put on a good performance and offset Diaz' rythym. He definetly hits harder, he's slicker, and goes to the body very well. If he punches in between Diaz' combos and goes to the body in the early rounds he could make it very interesting later on. It's just that he's been so inconsistent over his career. If this is an off-night for Campbell, even remotely, I think he'll be completely overwhelmed and just never get going. I do think he's capable of beating Juan Diaz though. He has much more power, and like I say, if he manages to be slick and get his digs in to the body early, he can absolutely make Diaz fight his fight... Which is a fight Juan can't win.

Agree. Campbell needs to fight the way he did the night he beat up Kid Diamond to have a chance.
