Blood in Eye

Don't worry mate, I've heard this often enough.

It's a blood clot just under the surface of your eye usually caused by impacvt on the eyes surface, I've seen it a fair bit.
On the other hand it could be a syptom of a non-functioning kidney, but thats highly doubtful

My powerlifting friend had it happen after a comp once. It was sick to gaze upon.

I am not sure how long it took to clear but the next time I saw him it was fine.

Thanks man.. Yeah i'm going to go to the doctor sometime this weekend because i've had an extra ordinarly bad headache over the last couple of days which made me even have to have a day off work.. So if they are related, it could mean that their is excess blood pressure in my head/brain which can cause strokes and things like that.. I'm pretty convinced it's nothing serious but no one ever got into trouble by being safe rather than sorry..
I thought that maybe some people have had this due to boxing..

That's sick about the leech on the eye! that's just stupid and crazy!

Actually, i'm a little worried about going to sleep again tonight incase the same thing happens that happened last night... I guess it will be good to have a doctor tell me exactly what it might be and if it's okay... I hate all the doctors in my area though! They are all indian reject doctors that come here because we have a shortage of doctors and they can pretty much get work straight away with little credentials or reputation.. They are also very hard to understand or communicate with... I might go out of town for this one to get a decent opinion..

UPDATE :

I woke up this morning and my eye hasn't gotten any worse.. It's now 5pm, and it's actually started to get a little better I think.. The blood has actually spread out a little bit and from far back it looks a little worse because more of my eye looks red, but it's thinning out and in some places the white is starting to show through and going a little more pinky...
If I didn't see it in the mirror, I wouldn't have even known about it as it doesn't feel any different.
So I think it should be fine now and hopefully gone in a few days to a week

Hope all is well.When in doubt and Its pertaining to Headaches and blood ,get to a doctor just to be sure if at all possible.Mini strokes,Clots and aneurysm's nothing to play with. Not to freak you out, just saying.You may have just scratched it while sleeping or something.
