I prefer the old system but i definately prefer the new forum and i am getting used to the repping system.

Saddo's done a belting job if you ask me.

Did prefer CC/SC to repping but i like the feature of being able to comment on why you've repped.

I see JT's point. For example, if you are in the Prediction contest and BG is throwing you 30 reps per week, you can tally a big number fast. With CC's for participating, you could get a boost to your rating from doing the contest or the Sheep's sports book, but it wouldn't give you this huge gain in Rep disproportionate to your posts and time in.

I like this new system just fine, especially being able to tell why you you approve or disapprove and I think it's fine that the hardcore members get to give out more karma. It kind of sucks for me, though. I had a great ratio of CC's to SC's. I also participated in few seasons of sheep's book and one prediction contest. If BG and Sheep had been giving me full rep for every wager and predication, my rep and punch power would be at least triple my current rating.

I don't like it Saddo. I have been generous of giving rep to cool posters. My powerpunch is only 10. That's gonna make me look like a cheap B@stard if I give them zero on good rep remark.

Hey my friend , i agree and you are righ , thats why when i receive and earn reputation of my great friends about a good threads , i give it back a good Rep. too with a comments that maybe i cant give the same Rep. but with my good intention i appreciate his act too. .....so i dont know why JT put these thread and create a big controverse or dispute with the majority of the forum , i think that you like a person you have to earn the people without offend , taking personal with offensive words , be friendly and sharing opinions .........i want to say to any friends here in these topic , im a newbe in these forum i just started like 2 months ago i had the Rep. that i have because i think that i earned if JT think that i dont deserve it , i would like if he can explain me WHY ?.......

I guess looking around I am still a newbie.Compared to boo-koo vets I see here I could not carry there jockstraps.At first I REALLY did not like the idea of changing over to rep.I thought It would generate a huge status mentality or "Vassels" if you will that would divide up the forum In a way.The CC/SC system Was well balanced and seemed to generate alot of debates and convo in and of Itself.It was a one shot at a time deal and most of the time It was all on the front page for all to see...almost felt more valuable ??With the exception of logging on and seeing you have been SC'd 8 times by Phantoms and John Doe's with out them "owning" it I thought it solid

The new Rep system in a small way "takes It to a backroom".Instead of posting that you acknowledge some good points you just send rep and comment within The message area.You also see who It Is , It sort of Introduces you to many Members.A major thing Ive noticed contributing to A lot of rep flying around Is the fact that at times you literally can not Rep someone You really think merits it until you Pass some around....That always got me and I would love the 24 hour time line back.Of course I do not mind the shrapnel rep but I want it for a good point ,Good Insight or something else other than trying to simply make a quota.?

As we stand I would change the timeline,Thats It.We all know the unspoken pecking order around here and the substance of the members within.When you come down to it ,The reps and Power are nice to have bling.
