I guess looking around I am still a newbie.Compared to boo-koo vets I see here I could not carry there jockstraps.At first I REALLY did not like the idea of changing over to rep.I thought It would generate a huge status mentality or "Vassels" if you will
that would divide up the forum In a way.The CC/SC system Was well balanced and seemed to generate alot of debates and convo in and of Itself.It was a one shot at a time deal and most of the time It was all on the front page for all to see...almost felt more valuable ??With the exception of logging on and seeing you have been SC'd 8 times by Phantoms and John Doe's with out them "owning" it I thought it solid
The new Rep system in a small way "takes It to a backroom".Instead of posting that you acknowledge some good points you just send rep and comment within The message area.You also see who It Is , It sort of Introduces you to many Members.A major thing Ive noticed contributing to A lot of rep flying around Is the fact that at times you literally can not Rep someone You really think merits it until you Pass some around....That always got me and I would love the 24 hour time line back.Of course I do not mind the shrapnel rep but I want it for a good point ,Good Insight or something else other than trying to simply make a quota.?
As we stand I would change the timeline,Thats It.We all know the unspoken pecking order around here and the substance of the members within.When you come down to it ,The reps and Power are nice to have bling,Its the words,knowledge,experience and all around contributions that are the most Immportant and telling
