Much respect for Campbell for what he has done with his career, a lesson that Zab Judah could learn, i hope he was watching. Nate Campbell is a great example of never give up attitude and persistence. I hope the K man gets a shot at him this year.

I thought only Calzaghe was the only old guy who could throw such volume of punches.
Campbell did exactly what he said he would do. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t surprised at his performance. He really deserved it.
Katsidis and Casamayor should be another great fight. Hopefully Campbell fights the winner.

The man had a top notch game plan and followed it to the tee.Really a great story in a year that is shaping up as a beauty.
The light division is looking to be pretty nice with A.Peterson set for a breakout,Katsidis Vs.Casamayor,Khan breaking the ranks and Hopefully Marquez v.Pacquiao winner moving up,Campbell in top form,Diaz should stay around,Etc.Etc. Oh and Zahir Raheem.Santa Cruz deserves a shot after shite call as well.

Exactly this fight was won with stradegy. The early bodywork paid off later, those later round Diaz didnt throw half as many shots as he did in the first half. Campbell also blocked alot of the inside bodyshots Diaz tried to throw, probably just punched himself out. Diaz showed big time heart fighting one-eyed and tired.

I tip my hat to Campbell, what a great game plan he brought to the table. He did something nobody thought he'd be able to do, he outworked Diaz, hurt him, and beat him at his own game. Campbell just hammered away at Diaz's body early and that seemed to pay off huge. If Diaz hadn't gone into full on Ricky Hatton mode (wrestling and hold etc) Campbell would've stopped him late IMO. The head games Campbell was playing seemed to effect Diaz as well, Campbell brought out every trick in the bag, he almost reminded me off Hopkins with his head-butting etc.
As a fan of both fighters, but more so Diaz, I was worried when I heard about this fight as lately Campbell seems incredibly focused and hungry. On another note, how far up a fighters ass can the HBO team get. In the middle rounds, as Campbell is pummeling Diaz, and it looks like a stoppage is coming in the later rounds, the HBO crew is still talking about Diaz - Casa and Diaz - Katsdidis (sp) like its a foregone conclusion that Daiz is going to walkthrough Campbell; only Manny Steward was giving Campbell any repect early on when he was clearly landing the harded, cleaner, more damaging blows throughout the fight.
