Yeah he lost wbu title fight to Derry Matthews.
I wouldn't say he had big time potential. He looked average to me.....even tho it was only his 9 fight or so.

Marsh is a decent local fighter. But he will never be a world champion.

Course Marsh can be a world champion! Look at his amateur career for starters on Matt Marsh Offical Website He wins a title in every 4 pro fights he has. His only loss was against a very tall World Champion in the weight above that he is not suited to. 12 pro fights and already a British champion. He took on a world champion after only having 2 10 round fights. Never been 12 rounds before and steps up a weight for the WBU belt! Not exactly what I would call average!

He has absolutely no power. He's definately a prospect, I think he will be exposed at the top of even the UK level.

Agreed he's lacking in power but hopefully that will improve with more fights and stepping up levels. He's gonna have to get used to going the distance in most of his fights.
