Who do you think would win:

cotto has the ability to school judah for 12 rounds but his chin aint great and judah knocked PBF who has a ''great'' defense so it would be close.

I don't think cotto is strong enough defensively and judah would win by TKO in the 11th
once Zab tasted that power an pressure he would break down and lose it mentally.....He needs to get his head straight....PBF broke him down....
It feels good to be back home.

Cotto is more consistant, and if the fight went the distance, Cotto would break him to the body. However, Zab has the pop to hurt him like Corley and Torres did, and has the hand speed to do it early. Plus Zab has the foot speed to stay away for awhile. Zab can also close if he got Cotto in trouble. The way I see it is this, If Cotto gets in trouble in the first six, Zab would pull it out, maybe with a KO. If Cotto gets past six, and has already landed to the body, Cotto wins on late stoppage. The fight could go either way, but I would pick Zab to win 6 out of 10 times. Simply because he has the physical gifts to beat Cotto, and he has fought the bigger men, and better comp. If it was 18 months to 2 years from now, I would say Cotto wins 7 of 10.

I doubt it. Both Cotto and Judah are known for fading late. the difference is Cotto has a glass body

I agree. But Zab wouldn't go to the body enough if they fought. We both know that. If he did, Zab would stop him 4 sure. But, against a pocket fighter like Cotto, who like to counter, Zab would stay to the outside, and try to use his speed to rock him with the left. Since Ward-Judah, Zab has been very concience about body punchers. Also, Zab fades worse than Cotto, mostly because of age I'd say. Like I said, I'd pick Zab to win, even with the recent losses, but Cotto has a chance too, simply because he does go to the body, and Zab has a glass body too. Starr, you said Floyd doesn't have power, and he hurt Zab to the body. 60-40 for Zab. Next year, 60-40 for Cotto.

I guess it could go either way, if it goes past 5 or 6 I'd probably favor Cotto cause I think Judah fades worse than Cotto does, outside of maybe the N'dou fight I haven't noticed that being a real problem.

But I don't for a second doubt that Judah could hurt Cotto early with a left hand that he didn't see and although Cotto has eventually recovered when he's been hurt his habits when he gets hurt are still a bit questionable to me. Maybe I'd slightly lean towards Judah I don't know, I'd need to see Cotto at 147 cause I've always felt that he'll be a bit better at 147, I think his legs will be stronger when he's not having to cut so much weight.

Its an interesting fight cause I don't rule out either guy winning and it would probably be by stoppage.

Only 60-40 for Cotto next year if Zab isn't consistant next year, who knows, he may string off something. And Zab went to the body pretty well against Mayweather but stopped. I think Zab has a good straight left to the body if he uses it. And I think That Zab could catch Cotto in between shots with his speed. We'll have to see how Cotto looks in his next fight to see if those problems are fixed, then we can say.

i'll agree with that...and if they are going to fight it looks like next year doesn't it?

Even though it would be an intriguing fight,I don't want to Cotto to fight Zab. After he fights Castillo as his last match@140,I want him to come up and beat someone who will eanr him respect and beating Zab will not do that. I'd looooove to see Miguel against Margarito!!!! Mexico v Puerto Rico! Arum's stablemates!! My 2 faves! There's also Hatton,Baldmoir if he beats Gatti and of course Floyd in ayear or so.

Cottos in for a rough year if your hopes come true the game. .. IMO Castillo and Margarito are both the kind of fighters that Cotto should want nothing to do with.. They are both too strong and would bull their way inside and unload on Miguell, imo.

I'm not sure...I'll be honest,at 140,I think he can beat Castillo. I think he should stay on the outside, use the body shots and jab,AVOID A WAR and work his way to a UD.Also if Chico has the power to hurt Castillo,so too does Cotto imo. Also,Miguel alhtough weight drained is still as strong as a bull@140....I mean he comes to the ring@156 sometimes!!!

Margarito fight,I'll be honest,I just want to see my 2 fave duke it out but I did not put much thought into it....I think Margarito may crush him!Hmmmm......Or Cotto may use some lateral movement and work Margarito's long body.....Wow,I think it would be a great fight!!!
