It just occured to me that poor old Harding is hardly being mentioned in this thread and all the talk is of Fenech.

Just like when they were both fighting in their primes!

I feel bad for Harding, he was a 2 time champ but never got any respect.

Maybe he needs to call out Mundine not Green. He is the kind of Washed up fighter Anthony is after!

You are spot on there. I can just see mundine talking the fight up and how dangerous Harding is.

Harding was my Favorite fighter after that first title win i thought he was very tough. Later on i would frequent some of the pubs he did in Sydney and it was sad to see him the way he was when he was drinking.

BTW that's him in my little pic there in case no one guesses who it is.

But he is one tough guy alright and would put in a good fight at any age but he couldn't be at the standard needed to beat Green after only six months training and no warm up fights. He is one however who does really need the money so you never know.

What the hell is in the water down there? Love Fenech and his will but He does not belong in the ring.Needs to be held together with duct tape and wet cement being in tatters like he Is.When I heard (before I saw It) That He was layed out cold by Grove I swore it was a lie. That was sad to see.Hardings toughness and sheer guts were awesome.Lalondes retirement was to his benifit,His comeback KO Vs.Andries first go round was amazing.Very good trilogy there. But, were talking about 14 YEARS out and forty something yrs old.
