Both bigger threats to Hatton's record. To say that Ricky is hesitant would be correct. The reasons are numerous. Witter, an awkward, good fighter is the number two in the division. Beat him now and everybody else is a step down. Get beaten by him and his career is over.

Think of it as a fighter looking to make money. Two options.
1)Hold out on Witter. Fight Lazcano, Paulie Torres and Manny Pac for millions. and then come home to fight witter
or
2) Fight Witter. Then take less interesting fights.

Doesn't let him end on a climax does it?
Ricky Hatton will fight Junior Witter, but it will come at a time which suits him, not Witter.
