In the defence of the guys who said that Vitali had been abusing steroids it's not actually their fault.
The media upon hearing of Vitali's positive test went with the banner headline "Klitschko admits to steroid abuse."
This contrasted greatly with the article which stated that Vitalki admitted to taking a substance perscribed to him by a doctor for an injury. However it is the headlines that stick in mind.

It's unfortunate that the media can spin things however they want (even negatively). When muscles are weak or experience atrophy doctors sometimes prescribe certain steroids... therefore making it medical/medication prescribed legitimately under the care of a doctor. This does not fall under the lines of abuse or trying to beat the system. If your injured or sick.. you go to the doctor in which him or her devise a plan of how and what to medicate to get the patient well. There was clearly no flying under the radar to get an unfair disadvantage. Now people should know more than ever that his injuries linger so sometimes they prescribe things that aid in healing. Believe me.. those steriods they prescribe for weak muscles will not give you an unfair advantage. You have to be taking some serious stuff and about enough to kill a full grown horse to get "unfair advantages".
