What were the dogs doing there? Were they being tortured, starved, etc? Seems like there's no law against having too many dogs (although if there were a lot of barking and the neighbors kept calling in I'm sure the law might do something about it then). If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a dog barking at night keeping everyone awake. That's why they invented BB guns.
