now who has Oscar fought above 135lb?

Chavez 140
Gonzalez 140
Whitiker 147
Comacho 147
Quartley 147
Trinidad 147
Mosely 147 154
Vargas 154
Sturm 160
Hopkins 160

you lot honestly think lil'Floyd and his soft hands would do better in those fights than Oscar? 140 is where PBF belongs and I think we will all find that out before the end of the year.

The fact is Floyd can have all the speed and defense in the world but Snr will be in Oscars corner.
Exactly when did Floyd Sr. become the second coming of Angelo Dundee? Out of all those fights of Oscar that you mentioned, how many of those was he supposed to lose? I didn't see any evidence of this 'Merlin' like knowledge when Oscar was getting tagged by Felix Sturm, or when he was sprawled out on the canvas against Hopkins. The fact of the matter is that Oscar is just as talented as Mayweather, I acknowledge that, they're both prodigies who started young, like Tiger Woods or Venus Williams or Roy Jones, and have made the most of their skills by not pissing away their talent like so many athletes today do. However, one fighter is entering the prime of his career and the other is in the twilight of his career. Managers are like NBA coaches, they're unbelievably overrated. Yes, a good one makes a big difference from a bad one, but ultimately when you have two world class athletes in a ring, they will have only themselves to rely on. You say who has Floyd beaten that is worthwhile above 135? I agree. No one worth mentioning along the likes of Leonard or Hagler's resume. Now I'll ask you this. Exactly who has Oscar beaten above welterweight? Vargas? Mayorga? Not that much more impressive than Judah or Mitchell.
