Good uppercut by Diaz but Montano is firing back. Good exchange on the inside by both men. Two good hooks by Montano. Montano is out punching Diaz at the moment on the inside. Good right hand to the temple by Diaz, but Montano fires back with a body shot. They clinch at the bell.

Round 3 = Montano starts out with the jab, Diaz fires body shots but Montano comes back. Good shots on the inside by Diaz they clinch, lunging left hook from Diaz that connects not solid though, arm punches from Montano, but now he starts firing good combos right, left, right, left, over and over. Diaz fires back with a glancing left hook over the top of Montano's jab. Montano butts Diaz but theres not cut. Nice right hand over the top by Diaz, body and head shots from Diaz, but he is swinging too much. Right hooks, uppercuts, from Diaz, Good uppercut from Montano. woah good right hook from Montano Diaz walked into that one, and a solid left hook at the bell by Montano.

Round 4 = Both men start out jabbing Diaz wildly missing, good 1,2 from Montano. Solid right hook on the inside by Montano, and another solid right hook. Right hook in return from Diaz, good uppercuts from Diaz, woah good uppercut from Montano, very good shots on the inside by both men, Montano holding his own very well. Nothing really landing at the moment, good exchange of body shots from both men, woah good left hook, right hook, from Diaz, Montano firing back but not much steam on his punches. Good right hook from Diaz on the inside. Woah good uppercut from Diaz at the bell.

Round 5 = Diaz comes out banging with punches from all angles, they clinch. Diaz is wearing down Montano and Montano is losing a lot of steam on his punches. Good Left hook from Diaz, solid body shot from Diaz on the inside. Good solid work from Diaz on the inside. Now he is shortening his hooks and he is having much better success, Montano not doing anything at the moment he seems to be badly fading, nice uppercut from Diaz good solid hooks from Diaz, Good right hook from Montano but no real steam on Montano's punches. Diaz throwing short little chopping hooks on the inside and wearing down Montano. Right hook at the bell from Diaz.

Round 6 = Diaz starts out with a right hook over the top, Diaz lands another two solid shots right down the pipe that backs Montano onto the ropes. Diaz has Montano on the ropes and works his body. Montano escapes and trys to measure Diaz with the jab but his punches are like feathers now, no power on Montano's punches what so ever. Diaz has Montano on the ropes again and works his body and head, nice uppercut from Diaz and another and another. Good right hook from Diaz, Montano tries to fight off the ropes but his punches are having no effect on Diaz. Good uppercut from Diaz followed by right hook over the top. Diaz trying to set Montano up for a left hook, nothing happening at the bell.

Diaz outworking and out punching Montano and clearly winning the fight now. Montano's punches have lost a lot of steam.

Round 7 = Diaz starts out throwing big bombs to the body and head. Montano actually landing good body shots of his own now. Diaz trying to pin Montano on the ropes Diaz landing a left and right hook. Diaz firing shots from all angles and Montano is getting a bit of a pasting on the ropes, he needs to get off them ropes right now. Diaz backs up for a moment and allows Montano to get off the ropes. Good inside work from Diaz body shots and uppercuts. Not much in return from Montano. Solid right hook buckled Montano's knees for a second. But Montano is firing back but gets out punched by Diaz on the inside. Diaz charges at Montano and pins him on the ropes good exchange by both men at the bell.
